Interested in helping in the Canyon View Friendship Garden? We are looking for one or more parent volunteers per classroom to be a class garden helper. Share the joy of gardening with students in the your child's classroom by joining us for short garden lessons, planting, harvesting, and caring for our school garden. Minimal time commitment on your schedule, however all volunteers in the garden need to be cleared as volunteers through the district. Canyon View Families, it's that time of the year again! Come and learn S'more about the PTO! Traditionally, the annual membership fees for the PTO help to fund all of the fun school and community social events such as the spring carnival (Coyote Round Up), dance, movie nights, Trunk or Treat, the Talent Show and Science Fair, ice cream socials and game nights. While membership gives members a voice and a vote for how money is spent, the PTO is also offering event sponsorship opportunities for those who prefer to support a specific cause. Love our annual school dance and want to make sure we keep it going? You can sponsor the event by contributing funds towards the cost to run it! We’ll recognize you in our social media posts for the event and in our communications kiosk, or you can choose to sponsor the event anonymously. You can choose to sponsor an event completely, or make a partial donation of at least $30 towards it. Don’t have the means to donate? That’s ok too! Your time is just as valuable to us and we could always use the help of volunteers to make these events successful! We honor our volunteers every year at our Volunteer Brunch.

Membership and sponsorship opportunities are voluntary and not required.

Picture Day is coming! Mark your calendars for Wednesday, September 11. Great Expressions Photography will be on campus taking your child's individual and class photos. Payment is not needed at this time. You'll receive proofs and instructions to order photos in a few weeks. A make up photo day for individual photos will be on Tuesday, October 1, but if your child is absent on September 11, they will not appear in the class photo.

Team CV (PTO & Foundation) invites all our new PTO members to attend our next Team CV meeting on Thursday, September 5th at 6:00 pm in Room 23 on campus or via Zoom. If you are a member, you will receive the meeting info and Zoom log in a few days prior to the meeting. Team CV meetings are held every first Thursday of the month at 6:00 pm. Mark your calendars!
