Help support the PTO and get your Thanksgiving pies at the same time! Pre-order a Mom's Pie and make serving dessert a snap. Pies will be pre-cooked and can easily be frozen and reheated. Order between October 19th through October 28th by clicking on the link in our bio or at https://bit.ly/momspies2024. Pie pick up will be on November 15th from 2 to 6 pm in the MPR. Run Club starts Monday, October 21st and is open to students in grades 1-5 from 8:20 to 8:40 a.m. on the lower field. We are currently seeking volunteers. Check the flyer for details.

October is jam-packed with lots of fun including Red Envelope Week, Red Ribbon Week, Ice Cream Social, our Chuck-E-Cheese Dine Out, Trunk-Or-Treat and our Annual Literary Parade. Mark your calendars-- you won't want to miss it! Please note dates are subject to change with little warning. Please refer to the Canyon View website calendar for official dates and start/end times. Fundraising and social events are voluntary and not required.

We know the year has just begun, but our yearbook committee is already gathering content for our 2024-2025 Yearbook! Yearbooks are on sale through TreeRing from now till until April 4, 2025. Order by October 31 and receive a 10% discount. You get 2 free custom pages when purchasing a yearbook and a portion of sales goes back to our school.

The planning for our annual Trunk-or-Treat event is underway and the PTO is looking for volunteers who want to host trunks, assist with set up, clean up, overseeing our lawn game area and directing traffic. If you are interested, please visit https://bit.ly/2024TOTsignup to sign up. Space for hosting a trunk is limited so please register early. Trunk hosts usually provide their own decorations and candy or toys to hand out, but the PTO will be conducting a donation drive leading up to the event to help. For more information on the commitment to host a trunk or questions about volunteering, please contact Stephanie at [email protected]. Participation in our Trunk-or-Treat event, including all fundraisers associated with the event, is voluntary and not required and a donation is not required to attend.

Team CV is hosting a Halloween Costume & CV Spirit Wear Drive from September 16th through October 11th. Drop off your gently used, no longer needed, unwanted or outgrown costumes and/or Coyote Gear in the collection bin in the front office and then come and shop for free, new (to you) costumes and spirit wear at the Ice Cream Social on Friday, October 11th from 5:30 to 7 pm!
